Rosalind has built a reputation over many years for context sensitive design in demanding settings. Her work with the practice has ranged from houses to educational facilities and detailed historical projects. Tom Dawson MA (RCA) ARB Having recently joined the practice, Tom brings skills garnered from large scale projects as well as hands-on experience in construction. Previously Tom worked for a number of well known London firms including Edward Cullinan Architects and Branson Coates Architecture. In 2006 he took part in the experimental construction of a sustainable house prototype in Argyll, Scotland (West Bothy) in collaboration with Rosalind Bird Architects. Mission We harbour a keen interest in context, sustainability, history, human-cented design and high standards of construction. Relationships with landscape and public realm are key to our approach. We seek to create places that are a joy to inhabit and a delight to use.
